Tire Rotation Patterns Compliments of:
|
| |
| |
Before rotating your tires, consult your vehicle owner's manual for rotation recommendations for your particular vehicle. If no rotation period is specified, we recommend rotating your tires every 6,000 to 8,000 miles (9,600 to 12,800 km) or at any sign of uneven wear. The first rotation is most important. If the tires show uneven wear, ask your tire specialist to check for and correct any misalignment, imbalance, or other mechanical problem before rotation. |
| IMPORTANT: Do not include a "temporary use only" spare tire in any of these rotation patterns.
If you have a regular tire as a spare and wish to include it in the rotation process,
follow this procedure:
Use one of the standard tire rotation patterns below but
insert the spare in the right rear position.
Place the tire, which would have gone to the right rear position as your new spare.
When the tires are rotated, be sure inflation pressures are adjusted in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
